It's amazing how context is everything, right? I've noticed that movie trailers (of late) often don't give a completely accurate glimpse of what a film is really about. I understand that marketing is a major concern, and that the studios want to make movies appeal to as wide an audience as possible...but at what point does this become inappropriate or irresponsible?

that is great- love the uppity music they put at the end. till this day The shining scares me like no other film
I am yet to watch the Shining, I'm sure I would be able to appreciate it more if I saw the original ...
It seems like a completely different movie. If I had not previously seen the shining I would never guess it was a horror movie.
