iPhone teaser ad

for those of you that watched the Oscars on sunday- did you see the teaser add for Apple's iPhone?
i thought it as brilliant- simple, fun, and a great concept. it seems as if licensing the clips from the major studios will pave the way for new multimedia content that will be featured on the iPhone.

I saw it last night and I thought it is the classiest commercial that I have seen in a LONG time! I actually came on to post it here, but you beat me to it :)

I agree with you both. The commercial was extremely appropriate and meshed well with the airing of the Oscars. Advertizing these days should be more creative and innovative like this commercial, rather than violent.

I agree - and what I liked most of all was that each clip used old-fashioned telephones. notice there wasn't a single modern phone in the ad. nice use of nostalgia to sell technology, and create excitement about a consumer product we wont' even see for another 4 months.
